This is a film that it wasn't supposed to be! I was shooting this one for PFC too but apparently we needed permissions to shoot at the location I was shooting at. The 'brother' literally had to catch a flight for Hyderabad. We were shooting in Bandra and he had to go back home to pick up his stuff from Indian Oil Nagar in Andheri and then get back to Santacruz airport. Still the chap helped me. We had few more shots left when out of blue came the Bandra police. They threatened us by saying that we were breaking the law and had to pay 25000 rupees fine or else had the option of losing our camera. My camera! We all played innocent and informed police-wallahs that we were unaware that permissions were needed in that area to shoot and we pleaded that they should tell us from where we can get the permissions and we shall go and get it there n then. 'TERRORIST KHAN' is my latest s hort film about a young man who has been misguided by his own thoughts. He is now on his way to create chaos but there is a cop on his trail. The film uses the game of cricket as a metaphor to depict the 'game' between the terrorist and the cop who is trying to stop him. Performed by: Faisal Sayed and Nishant Bahl

This was the very first film I made after my arrival in Mumbai 2008. The story of how this project got evolved is an interesting one. During the lunch time at the office where I had been working, I was discussing the idea for another short film (Sapnon Se Bhare Naina). In comes in interrupting us, our friend Kailash. He has a reputation of being overly irritating and he can be a very irritating person. So he interrupted us by asking whether we were planning something interesting and I randomly replied that we were planning to shoot a short film with him. Hearing this he got really excited and he asked me what the story was. Believe it or not, at that very moment, I came up with the idea for the film, that we could have a man selling coconuts on beach and talking about himself. Similar is his trait as he loves to talk. That night, I got excited thinking about the idea and couldn't sleep. I sat up near midnight and wrote the entire script in one go. It was shot twice
